Grinders? Are you from Connecticut? Love me a good grinder!
I’m actually from FL unfortunately, and we always just called them subs.
However Tony’s Mom was an air force brat and spent a lot of time in New England and they always called them grinders. So that’s what he calls them.
Apparently unless I also call them that he doesn’t know what I mean.
It’s immaterial anyway because I found a Little Caesar’s pizza in the fridge and we’re gonna eat that instead (even if we did eat Cici’s pizza for lunch).
