Nope! I only needed ONE more block! Made!!
I’m 1/3 of the way to payday!
Stupid foggy, sleepy, puffy eyes type headache has set in.
But I think, I think, I only need 9 more quilt blocks!!
How do people eat turnip greens since they are sightly prickly like radish greens? Regardless, I just washed a bunch I picked from my garden earlier since I ran out of dish drainer before I ran out of timer.
Now to quilt.
This 'n that
Sitting for 25 minutes, then 20 minutes worth of dishes, then making the last 16 quilt blocks I need. Doing the set-a-timer method tonight for motivation because I’m entirely worn out.
So impressed with the kids at taekwondo today! Never have I felt so out of shape just sitting somewhere, I watched this group of 5-13 year olds do a 1.5 hr continual work out. Even more impressed with the...

I have bags under my eyes but I’m enjoying watching the weather channel with Tony in the quiet since the kids are still asleep.
There’s a heat advisory until 9pm. No kidding, really? We’re supposed to be 19 degrees hotter than Florida today. We win!
I love that weapons class Jeremiah is taking. Last night the instructor was telling them how if they hit people in the head it...

Restless tonight.
Worn & tired from the last couple days of running too much and staying up too late. Looking forward to Sunday.
Can’t shake this guilty feeling tonight. Like I’m supposed to be doing something else.
I mean, I know the dishes need doing, and there’s a crap ton of laundry to put up, and I still need to make 21 quilt blocks.
But I’ve not sat around all night. ...

Okay so
I made my own chicken nuggets by simply cutting chicken breasts into approx. 2” chunks and dousing them with shake’n’bake. They were good. I so thoroughly doused mine in Texas Pete hot sauce that I can’t actually taste anything else, but the pre-sauced bite told me they were good.
The aforementioned cheesie potatoes (recipe halved, sans cream of chicken soup, sans corn...
and I dumped a packet of french onion soup mix in ‘em because I happened to have a package of french onion soup mix, and a person should live their life outside the box.
Just stuck these cheesy potatoes in the oven. I sorta halved the recipe but I used more sour cream than half would have been because I didn’t have a can of chicken soup.
Still, it’s the driest mixture I’ve ever seen.
Hoping it improves itself while baking.
Jeremiah spent 5.5 hours in lessons at taekwondo today. Hannah and I hung out like troopers, enduring with a mountain of snacky foods, books and knitting.
I finished reading The Evolution of Calpurnia Tate by Jaqueline Kelly and if you like youth fiction at all, or have a child in the 7-12 age range you should totally check it out.
I have to go make chicken nuggets.
Despite morning waterings...
I shouldn't be so angry
but I swear to God all my SIL has to do is post on my face book and I’m 0-Rageaholoic in 1.4 seconds.
Grrr.

My stepson is nearly seven and he’s about that height. He doesn’t look taller than average. I think four feet or a little taller is normal.
Thanks! Jeremiah will be 7 in 2 weeks. I know his feet are freaking huge, but I’ve never noticed him being abnormally tall around his peers, though I have noticed some of them are much smaller than he is....
Tony cleaned the living room for me when he got...
Tony: Guys! I asked you take to the toys OUT of the living room, and somehow, inexplicably, toys keep creeping back into it...
Me: (silently) Welcome to my life.
Well crap
Jeremiah is 51.5” tall. Which means he’ll be charged an adult admission at SixFlags.
Out of curiosity, what *is* the average height for a 7 year old?

Conscience off, dick on. You got it?
A very long bulleted post about my day
Checked out new Kroger opening, got suckered into a real life Ginsu knife presentation and spent $40 I probably didn’t have on my MIL’s August birthday present because her knives suck all the balls.
Remembered on the way home from Kroger that we will be spending, literally, all day tomorrow at taekwondo (12-7) so had to run into Dollar General and FoodCity for snacky foods and...

Totally not SST, although I’m not wearing panties.
Got up and went walking at 8.
Came home and took a nap. I think I’m doing this exercise thing right.
Feel awful today. Fatigued. Not really tired, just no energy. Also dizzy when I stand up.
Making bacon cheeseburger buns for dinner. Have dough rising on the front porch.
Harvested more radishes, another cucumber, 4 cherry...
Jeremiah just taught Hannah to dance the Macarena and then are practicing over and over in the living room.
This may be the strangest thing that’s happened to me today.

I’m tired.
I splurged on myself while picking up children’s zyrtec at Walmart and bought a bottle of “3minute Artificials” nail polish, by a company I’ve never heard of (Nail-Aid) that says it will make my nails as hard as gels with no mess, with 11x gel power. A very believable endorsement from “Kim from North Carolina” on the back of the box tells me...
Didn't walk this morning.
Up til almost 3 cutting holes in concrete, slept in til almost noon. Entire garden was wilted and sad by then. : ( It’s used to getting watered by 9:30 every morning. Don’t die, babies!!

I wish I could send you warm snickerdoodle bread.
I wish you could too, but I ate 2 servings of lasagna and a piece of bread and butter so I guess I’m good. LoL!
I forgot to mention that I got sunburned today taking my recreational morning walk for my health and playing safely at the park with my kids.
First world problems of a white girl. :-/
Just guzzled a 16oz bottle of generic Mountain Dew because today my body responded to allergy shots with extreme fatigue and I’m pacing myself because Tony wants to cut a hole in the concrete bathroom wall when he gets home.
I have that Taylor Swift for the Hunger Games soundtrack song stuck in my head. Not the whole song, just a couple notes of it. Bah.
Dammit Woolysoft now I want...
Trying not to eat the entire pan of lasagna I just made for dinner. It’s sooooooo yummy though, and for some reason I’m still hungry.

Christopher pointed out to me the other day that my “healthy” shredded wheat is 210 calories and that lucky charms is 235. So yeah…fuck that.
For real, and cereal only fills me for about 20 minutes, if you can call it being filled in the first place.
You can get a bacon cheeseburger for about 350...
You mean for 120 calories I got to eat 1/3 of a cup of Activia yogurt, when for 180 calories I could have had a whole bowl of Cap’n Crunch?!?

Torn between wanting to gripe because it hasn’t rained in 2 weeks and there’s no rain on the 7 day forecast, and being immensely grateful my house isn’t flooded a foot and a half deep from a tropical storm like some friends I grew up with in Florida’s.
Legs are hurting me so badly tonight. Weird pain. Not sore muscles from walking, more like my bones hurt. Strange.
Picked up more iron on stabilizer. Time to work on a quilt some more.
Tony wants to cut into the concrete in the bathroom when he gets home. Not sure I’m up to it but not gonna tell him. The goal is to have it finished by Jeremiah’s birthday party.
