oh ya I missed them up yeah the algae eaters will be fine. Yeah I was imagining the plecos which get huge. lol. Semi-aggressive are awesome. They tend to not die too fast and don’t breed like guppies. Don’t worry TOO much about overcrowding. ;)

how big is your tank? 2 algae eaters sounds like overkill (worked at pmart for 3 years.) But they should be fine. The fish you bought are stronger than other tropical fish. Just hang on to that receipt. Also Those are some of my favorite fish in the
20 gallon tank.
I tend to over crowd a little, I know, it’s bad.

We ended up with 2 algae eaters and 3 small albino tiger barbs.
I cleaned the tank when we got home, but I still think it might kill them.
Didn’t quite think this through.
Next time: Clean tank, wait a couple days.
We shall see. At least they have a return policy if the fish die in a week. I kept my receipt!

I have been wanting to compost for years. The township even offers a class and a free bin. But the OH has never allowed it. :(
I wasn’t able to find the charcoal filters I need, except at Walmart with the A/C filters but they were 3 or 4 to a pack and I didn’t have the extra $10 to spend today.

It’s semi quiet in my house. I’m reveling in it.
Jeremiah was tired from getting up to go to taekwondo today so he’s laying on his bed, snuggled up, reading himself a Lego Ninjago book.

I finally talked Tony into letting me compost. He was against it at first, saying it attracts snakes and bugs but I won him over with my womanly charms pig-headedness gloriously worded rebuttal.

How do I procure doughnuts this morning?
If I get the kids up and we leave as soon as possible I could go to the gas station and buy a baggie of little chocolate covered hostess doughnuts.
If I get the kids up RIGHT NOW AND WE LEAVE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE I could swing through the drive through of DunkinDonuts and get us each a tasty delight.
