And then we looked in the ceiling
of the basement, which is the floor of the bathroom, and discovered the drain pipe from the sink wasn’t GLUED TOGETHER!
And then I burst into tears.
Plumbing still not working right. Bathroom still not done. PMSing like crazy. Kids picking up on my emotional distress and being awful. Plumbing not hooked up.

AAAAAHHHH!!! I PLANTED POTATOES 2 DAYS AGO! That was the root veggie planting day! This article says to plant the asparagus crowns at the same time.
My day continues
Rented an auger to the tune of a $125 deposit. Bought super mega ultra psycho drain cleaner and a new wax ring in case Tony has to take the toilet off the floor. Again.
Got home, toilet flushes fine. Sigh. Walking on egg shells. Going to try to do the last few dishes in a little bit, running the water as little as possible and see if it backs up again.

My Knitpicks order came & while I’m happy, I have a complaint.
A huge cardboard box for ONE 110yd skein of sport weight yarn? This skein of yarn is tiny. One could probably fit 15 of them in the box the mailed one in.
I’ve ordered from them about 5 times now, and I always get my yarn in the same sized box, no matter what I order (I’ve never ordered more than like 6 skeins...

I ran out of potting soil, of course. I figure it’ll take at least 3 large bags to fill all 3 tires so I’m looking at $21 for “free” planters. Hm… may go rake grass clippings to use as compost to fill the bottom half of the tires and that way I’ll only need 1/2 the potting soil.

A better system
I’ve got to get my hands on an almanac calendar. The co-op here was out of them and my expert gardener get my garden in the paper every year neighbor said a local funeral had them, for free. I stopped by the funeral home and the only “person” there was a gray haired lady laid out for a viewing.
