We’re home. Against my better judgement?
I’m tired of being gone. The kids are miserable. I’ve burned up all my grocery money for this week in gas.
I got off work late and instead of driving out to my MIL’s we grabbed Taco Bell and came home. It’s almost bedtime. I can take the kids to the gas station or they can just pee in the toilet and we won’t flush...

Unrelated to anything
Old Navy had knit dresses on sale for $8 on Saturday. I bought a black one. I should have bought 2. Maybe 2 black, maybe I could have even stretched my limits to buy the bright green or blue one.
They’re super comfy and it looks great on me even tho it’s that time of the month and I’m all puffy and sad. Guess what I’ll be wearing to do all my running and working...

Stayed at Mom’s last night. Came home at 9:30 this morning to wake up Tony so we could get to work. First thing we have to drill thru the brick wall to run the pipe for the exhaust vent. He’s been trying to drill through the wall for an hour.
Tonight we’re going to go to my MIL’s and let the kids play with her since she’s off and stay there. Probably come home...

Yes, that was all 4 Bowmans plus a Roomie that you saw in the backyard at midnight digging holes with a flashlight to try to find the sewer lines.

Thursday night
In 20 minutes when Tony gets home we’re going to get to go out in the back yard, with the kids in tow, in the possible rain and dig a gigantic hole so we can see if the problem is a tree root growing into our sewer line.
Then we’ll also get to take apart the kitchen sink in case those pipes are the problem.
Some days I really miss our apartment with its super awesome speedy...

I put the user name in my Zelda game as “Des”, since well, you know… that’s my name.
At different parts of the game the dialog of the characters will says things like, “Don’t worry! Des is coming to save us!”

It quit raining
So I planted green beans (4 plants), cucumbers (4 plants), turnips (3 but possibly 2 are on their way out), roma tomatoes (2 plants), sweet peppers (2 plants), hot peppers (2 plants) and aloe (1) in the garden along with the onions and potatoes that were already there!!
On the 3rd I’ll plant 2 big boy tomato plants and my squash and zucchini plants. I need to buy the tomatoes tomorrow so...

Stuck on Zelda Twilight Princess again.
Found the LAST monkey in the forest temple. It’s on top of a rock and we can’t figure out how to get it down no matter what.
Can’t find it in the online walkthrough either.
Planting day!
Today is the day I’m supposed to put my babies in my garden.
Only it’s storming.
Hmm…
I haven’t had any caffeine since Monday morning when I drank about 8oz of Mountain Dew because I ran out of coffee on Sunday. So none yesterday, none today.
I never did get that weird caffeine withdrawal headache, which is weird because I basically mainline the stuff.
That being said…
Someone should send me some chocolate cake.

I hurt so badly all over. Tossed and turned last night with back and leg pain, hoped it would let up as the day wore on. It didn’t.
Time to shower the kids because they are smelly.
Want to go to sleep.
Not even knit.
Want to sit around and watch TV with Tony though. Didn’t get to really see him when he got home last night or today before work because it was running around...

Bad night’s sleep. Hannah’s been having bad dreams so she climbed into my bed and cried in her sleep all night long. It was better than the night before when she punched me in the face, in her sleep.

Truthful Tuesday
I’m slowly learning contentment and happiness. To be happy, find the silver lining in everything. To not immediately jump to the negative. To not assume ever situation is worse than it is. To pace myself and rest. To allow myself to smile.
Today was a great day.

LoL! I know! It’s a fine line between teaching your kids to ignore assholes, and teaching them to be assholes. I fall off the line often.

Some kid at Sunday school made fun of Jeremiah today for wearing a hot pink polo-style shirt.

Spent 2 hrs out at the park with a friend and her kids, in the 52 degree weather + wind. We’re chilled. Where did my beautiful 80 degree days go? Also I think I have wood mulch in my panties.
Time for a shower, a quick round of dishes and then a “nutritious” dinner of fish sticks and french fries so we can snuggle under a quilt on the couch watching Beauty and the Beast!
