Oh no she just discovered stickers in the Strawberry Shortcake book I bought her yesterday. *horrors*
So dinner ended up being frozen cheez ravioli, frozen meatballs and canned spaghetti sauce. I did butter and season and bake garlic bread though… from a loaf of french bread I bought at Kroger yesterday. Not quite the homemade culinary masterpiece I was shooting for. But it’s hot.
And I got half the dishes done.
And Hannah didn’t destroy anything while I did.

Today Hannah has been...
disobediant, distructive, smart mouthed (rolling eyes/sticking tongue out too), roudy, and has gotten into everything.
She’s had more disciplinary sessions today than she has in a week.
She just dumped a quart of cranberry apple juice on the kitchen floor, in the 2 minutes she left the living room.

OMG I can't believe how badly my throat hurts!
Also, I just lost TWO WHOLE HOURS in my Harry Potter game. Oops. Suddenly it was 7:30pm instead of 5pm and I guess eventually my family will wanna eat dinner right? Shucks!
So I stuck some shake and bake covered po’k chops in the oven, gonna do a quickie stove top stuffing thing in about 20 minutes and either some canned green beans or frozen peas heated in the microwave and tada, dinner....

In an attempt to distract myself from the fact that I feel like death warmed over, I have painted my nails Street Walker Red. (Not the actual polish name, just what I think it should have been called). I may wear the same color lipstick to church tomorrow.
Sometimes it takes a lot of effort to look trashy.

She’ll be 16 on March 18th. I have one *small* idea.
I got lots of knitting done during last week’s 6 movie Harry Potter, all the time, fest.
This week I’m sick, and not so much knitting… almost none. And I have projects in my head that are piling up.
I think I need another movie fest.
I feel like absolute garbage.
My sinuses feel raw inside. My head feels swollen inside, as does my neck.
I’ve been having horrible body aches, like when you have a really high fever, since about 7pm only no fever.
If I could just stop hurting I think I’d be okay. As it is, only my nerves of steel are keeping me from crying because I just feel so bad.
I’ve been working on this cough for about 2 weeks now....
I’m exhausted, again. I’ve lost my voice, again.
But…
We took my car into Knoxville to the shop to get fixed at 9am.
Then we went to Lowes and bought a huge batt of insulation for finishing our walk in closet upstairs.
Then back home, then I took Hannah back to Knoxville to the Drs where they told me she was fine, just a cold.
Hit walmart for cold meds, the grocery store...
I’m stuck in the bathroom at Git N Go. I may be dying. That’s what I get for drinking dinner last night.
Praying so hard that the roomie gets to see his daughter today.
Her mother won’t hardly let him see her, ever. She told him to call back at 3:30 when she gets out of school to see what she thinks then. Sigh. I hope, I hope.
Tonight I was trying to explain to my Mom (an ardent Lord of the Rings hater) in excited-uber-geek detail about how Galadriel, Lady of Light, basically Queen of the Elves in Lothlorien was Arwen of Rivendell’s Grandmother (on her mother’s side) and how it was so cool that my Mom is knitting the Haruni lace chawl, Haruni of course being Evlish for Grandmother and she totally cut me off...

I’ve been sick for a week. Tony was sick a couple days before me so he started feeling better halfway thru my week. Jeremiah woke up puny today, has run fever and had bad headaches and body aches all day. Hannah woke up with a pink and goopy eye which has continually poured green looking snot out of the inner tear duct. I’m having some lady problems with my perdiod being apparently...

From 10am-noon I’m taking the kids to the Children’s Museum to their annual International Festival, which means I will probably be boring my 5 and 2.5 yr olds by making them listen to ethnic music and they’ll sample a bunch of ethnic foods that we’ll later be sorry about but dammit, culture is good and sadly lacking from our white bread American...
I am going thru TrueBlood withdrawl.
I don’t know if I should begin making my way through seasons 1 & 2 again or I should start over with the first book and re-read the series?
This inner debate is useless right now though because my head hurts me too badly to read and my kids are still awake so bare naked boobies covered in blood and vampire bites really isn’t appropriate tv...

My 2yr old daughter broke a crowned tooth this morning eating, of all things, a chocolate covered caramel from the box of THREE whole chocolates I bought her.
