Mom: After the funeral Betsy told cousin Carol that I had to take out my belly button ring because it didn't heal right.
Me: That's awesome! I'm suddenly addicted to the idea of throw pillows.
Mom: LoL! You will never stop having to pick up pillows off the floor. I hated that couch we had in FL.
Me: Yes, but I've found so many awesome DIY ones on Pinterest. Santa needs to bring me 407 12"-18" pillow forms.

It’s in the washer now and once it’s dry all I have to do with it is deliver it and get PAID. I am so glad it’s done. I hated every minute of making this quilt. Debating on whether I want to make the 2nd one for the woman or not. Tough decisions.
Finally got out of the bathroom and got to bed at 1:30.

Every freaking time. EVERY FREAKING TIME I eat at ANY Burger King ANY WHERE in this country I get the stomach ache from hell. Every time.

More tentacles than a Snarfalump plant
Found this pattern called Gripping which is basically just little knit tentacles to use up bits of yarn. The pattern photos show ones of different sizes stuffed into a bowl and I LOVE it!!! What a great little way to get rid of these leftover bits I’ve got everywhere!
My first “tentacle” came out a little small, and not very curvy, but I guess that’s what I get for using...

Dinner.
I made Chicken a la King type stuff in puff pastries. I say stuff because I don’t know how to make chicken a la king so I made chicken soup and put green beans and corn in it LOL!
The puff pastries were still a little doughy inside but would have been burned on the outside if I baked them any longer. Oh well. The chicken soup stuff was delicious and I doused mine with hot sauce.

Harry Potter inspired socks for my Dad for Christmas.
I’m working on the pattern for these, as they turned out massively comfortable and able to fit a range of sizes— these socks fit on a woman’s size 7.5 and a man’s size 10.5 shoe.
I hand-dyed the yarn myself with Kool-Aid.
I hope he likes them!!

Been another long day.
I finished piecing the Quilt from Hell, pieced the backing and packed everything I’d need to pin it out and quilt it in a tote to take to Mom’s so I could use her sewing machine.
Took Hannah to ballet, where she actually participated again! So happy!!
Books back to the library.

The skeleton bits I made.
I bought a candy mold of random bone bits from JoAnn fabrics for $2 and melted white chocolate. The mold actually made 2 dismembered skeletons so between the brownies tonight and the trial run last week I had to fill the mold 6x.
