My Mom just called to tell me my aunt showed up.

I talked to her twice on the phone, in length, and once to my brother.

Hubby's new cabled hat

2. Become engrossed in said knitting project
3. Forget to eat.
This would work PERFECTLY if only I didn’t have to put aside said knitting to go fix food and feed my kids… which reminds me to eat.

Birthday Socks
This is not a play on words. Last year for her birthday I made my Mom 2 pairs of socks. One was plain ol’ knit, one was a complex pattern.
This year for her birthday I made her 2 pairs of socks. Both were plain ‘ol knit but in yarn that at least striped or patterned.
